The Big Cleanup Clearwater is planned in partnership by Keep Pinellas Beautiful, the City of Clearwater, Ocean Allies, Amplify Clearwater, and Visit St.Pete/Clearwater.

Since 1992, Keep Pinellas Beautiful has provided opportunities for meaningful service to bay area residents of all ages. As a volunteer‐based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, we develop partnerships with local governments, businesses, schools, non‐profits, and neighborhood organizations to turn public spaces into beautiful places. Through our Education, Engagement and Empowerment efforts our vision is to create a culture of environmentally responsible citizens within our communities throughout Pinellas County, Florida.

The City of Clearwater Parks and Recreation Volunteer Program assists with and improves city programs, services, facilities and beautification by recruiting, training and retaining volunteers from the local community. The generosity of our volunteers helps to provide the community with meaningful programs, events, and safe scenic landscapes to work, play, and live in.

The City of Clearwater Sustainability and Resiliency department isn’t just about the planet, it’s about people. Our health can be improved by having cleaner air and water, eating local produce, and getting out to walk or bike more. Our economy can benefit by reducing the amount of money each person spends on energy, water, and waste. This money can instead be used at local businesses, further supporting our community’s economy. We believe in connecting tourism and conservation with strategies allowing both to thrive, and maintaining tourism jobs while increasing the protection of our beach.
